Educational Resources

IAH encourages worldwide application of hydrogeological skills through education and technology transfer programs. Similarly, a primary objective of the USNC is to promote research, education, communication, and training in groundwater science.

This page provides brief descriptions of sites that offer information that would be of direct interest to IAH members or would be of interest for their use in helping to advance others’ understanding of the proper management and protection of groundwater for the common good throughout the world.

University of California Water Resources Center Archives

The Water Resources Center Archives (WRCA), previously located on the University of California at Berkeley campus, has assembled scholars of distinction to provide monthly lectures as part of the popular lecture series, the California Colloquium on Water. These lectures are designed to increase the understanding and appreciation of water resources and contribute to informed decisions about water. More information about the Colloquium, including videotapes of the lectures, is available at http://www.lib.berkeley.edu/
WRCA/ccow.html
. The WRCA is moving to new locations jointly operated by the University of California Riverside (Orbach Science Library) and California State University San Bernardino (Pfau Library) and will reopen by April 25, 2011.
