Three articles in Hydrogeology Journal (August 2020) describe the assessment of groundwater vulnerability on the South Rim, Grand Canyon (USA), amid concerns over reduced groundwater quality and availability. Stable isotopes, dissolved noble gases, age tracers and geochemistry were used to support a new conceptual model of groundwater flow on the South Rim.
