Editor-in-Chief, Books, United Kingdom
Dr Nick Robins is an Honorary Research Associate with the British Geological Survey. The majority of his career was with the Survey working both at home, largely on hard rock hydrogeology, including the UK high level radioactive waste disposal programme, and in Africa, the Middle East, Central America and the Caribbean. His current work programme is divided between the hydrology of European coastal dune wetlands and the crystalline basement rock aquifers of sub-Saharan Africa, the latter funded through SADC and the Government of Malawi. Nick is responsible for delivering the IAH Selected Papers and International Contributions to Hydrogeology book series. He has published his work extensively and is also author of sixteen books on maritime history.
