The current executive manager is retiring after 8 years and IAH is now seeking to recruit a replacement. The executive manager is responsible for day to day operations and smooth running of the organisation, liaising with the executive and council and managing a small secretariat of part-time staff supported by contractors. The role is part time, approximately 20 hours per week on average. The executive manager acts as the Association’s company secretary, responsible to IAH’s directors and members and the UK legal and financial authorities, including its banking arrangements. It is a rewarding role, at the heart of international groundwater affairs.
IAH is based in the UK, but the role is open to candidates based in the UK or abroad who have the appropriate experience and capability to run a small international charity and professional association for hydrogeologists and hydrogeology. You can find further information here and by contacting us at info@iah.org. We welcome informal enquiries and will be happy to discuss the requirements. Please send your application to this email address by submitting your CV and a covering letter detailing why you would be the right candidate for the role, before 15 November and ideally by the end of October.
