  Sustain Istanbul 2024: Towards Sustainable Groundwater Use under Changing Climate

  We are pleased to announce Sustain Istanbul 2024, an in-person conference to be held at Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey from October 9-11, 2024 with the theme “Towards Sustainable Groundwater Use under Changing Climate”. The conference will deal with all aspects relating to the sustainable use of groundwater resources, building on the success of:
  
  - 2022 Sustain Valencia conference “Achieving Sustainable Groundwater Management: Promising Directions and Unresolved Challenges”,
  - 2021 AGU annual meeting hybrid session “Prospects for Sustainability of Heavily Stressed Aquifers: Impediments and Opportunities”,
  - 2019 Chapman conference “Quest for Sustainability of Heavily Stressed Aquifers at Regional to Global Scales” held in Valencia,
  
  The conference will be held in the South Campus of Bogazici University with its breath-taking view of the Bosphorus straits. The historical and highly dynamic city of Istanbul linking the continents of Europe and Asia is an ideal setting to hold this meeting.
