  All-Russian Conference on EAST RUSSIA GROUNDWATER

  This all-Russian Conference is traditional and it is held every 3 years. The first meeting was convened in October 1955 on the initiative of the East Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences and the Irkutsk Geological Department of the Ministry of Geology and Subsoil Protection of the USSR. At the upcoming meeting it is expected to consider the scientific and practical results of research in the field of hydrogeology for the period after the XXIII meeting held in Irkutsk (2021), and discuss a wide range of problems facing domestic and world hydrogeology.
  The conference will take place in the Royal Hall of the Ural State Mining University - the oldest university in the Urals, founded on July 16, 1914 by decree of Emperor Nicholas II, as a mining institute in the city of Yekaterinburg. At the upcoming meeting, it is planned to consider the results of theoretical and applied research not only in the field of hydrogeology, but also in the field of engineering geology, to discuss a wide range of problems facing domestic and world science.
  It is noteworthy that the meeting will be held within the framework of the international decade for action "Water for Sustainable Development", which the UN celebrates in 2018-2028 (A/RES/71/222).
  
  At plenary and sectional sessions, it is proposed to consider and discuss the following topical issues:
  • Fundamental problems of modern hydrogeology
  • Evolution of the underground hydrosphere. Theoretical and applied aspects
  • “Water – rock – gas – organic matter” system. Interaction and simulation
  • Cryohydrogeology
  • Mineral, thermal and industrial groundwater
  • Isotopes in the underground hydrosphere
  • Environmental problems of hydrogeology
  • Hydrogeological, engineering-geological and geoecological problems of development of mineral deposits and use of mine waters
  • The underground hydrosphere through the eyes of young hydrogeologists
