The 7th PAAI- 8th APCAMM Joint Meeting on Groundwater Management
Resilient Coastal Aquifer Management in Tropical Regions: Adapting to Climate Change and Urbanization. Join us for a landmark event bringing together leading voices in groundwater research, management, and policy across the Asia-Pacific! Coastal regions, home to 40% of the global population, are under increasing pressure from climate change and rapid urbanization. In our region, these stresses—rising sea levels, extreme weather, and human impacts—are placing freshwater resources at risk and challenging progress toward clean water and sanitation goals. To address these pressing concerns, the Asia-Pacific Coastal Aquifer Management Meeting (APCAMM) and the Perhimpunan Ahli Airtanah Indonesia/Indonesian Groundwater Experts Association (PAAI) will host a joint conference from August 4–7, 2025, in Bandung, West Java Indonesia.
The event will feature pre-conference workshops, oral and poster presentations, and a field excursion to the Jakarta coast to observe land subsidence and coastal hydrogeology in action.
While the main theme is coastal groundwater, we warmly welcome presentations on all topics related to groundwater. This conference offers a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, build partnerships, and shape sustainable, resilient approaches to groundwater management in a rapidly changing world. Don’t miss this chance to connect, share, and contribute to the future of groundwater in the Asia-Pacific!.Price: USD100-200
Organised by The Indonesian Groundwater Experts Association (PAAI).
