  Conferenza Finale del Progetto EU-Interreg Maurice

  Il progetto europeo MAURICE, guidato dal Politecnico di Milano insieme al Consorzio Est Ticino Villoresi con il supporto di Regione Lombardia, MM S.p.A. e ISPRA, ha sperimentato una soluzione innovativa per affrontare eventi di siccità: utilizzare i canali irrigui per favorire la circolazione dell’acqua e ricaricare le falde durante l’autunno e l’inverno. L’acqua viene distribuita sui campi agricoli, mediante tecniche a scorrimento, dove si infiltra nel terreno e rifornisce le riserve sotterranee, creando un serbatoio naturale disponibile in primavera ed estate per affrontare carenze idriche.
  
  Il 26 febbraio 2026, presso il Palazzo Lombardia, Sala Belvedere “Silvio Berlusconi” (39° piano, ingresso N1), si svolgerà una conferenza per la presentazione dei risultati del progetto e lo scambio di conoscenze sull’attuazione della ricarica artificiale di acquiferi (MAR) in Italia. L’obiettivo è presentare tali interventi come misure di adattamento ai cambiamenti climatici che rendano le nostre risorse idriche più resilienti attraverso l’immagazzinamento di acqua nel sottosuolo.
  
  La partecipazione in presenza è limitata a 80 posti. Si invita cortesemente a confermare l’iscrizione solo in caso di effettiva certezza di partecipazione, compilando il modulo dedicato (aperto fino al 9 febbraio 2026).

  The European project MAURICE, led by the Politecnico di Milano together with the Consorzio Est Ticino Villoresi with the support of the Lombardy Region, MM S.p.A. and ISPRA, has experimented with an innovative solution to deal with drought events: using irrigation canals to promote water circulation and recharge the aquifers during autumn and winter. Water is distributed on agricultural fields, using sliding techniques, where it infiltrates the soil and replenishes underground reserves, creating a natural reservoir available in spring and summer to deal with water shortages.
  
  On 26 February 2026, a conference will be held at Palazzo Lombardia, Sala Belvedere "Silvio Berlusconi" (39th floor, entrance N1), to present the project results and exchange knowledge on the implementation of artificial aquifer recharge (MAR) in Italy. The aim is to present these interventions as climate change adaptation measures that make our water resources more resilient through the storage of water underground.
