  22nd Slovak Hydrogeological Conference

  Exact and reliable knowledge of the quantitative and qualitative groundwater properties in changing conditions, with the aim of ensuring high-quality drinking wate. The Slovak Association of Hydrogeologists (SAH) and the Water Research Institute in Bratislava are inviting all hydrogeologists, experts from practice, state and public administration, universities and other professional public to the 22nd Slovak Hydrogeological Conference, which is planned also with an international participation. The main Conference topic is formulated as “Exact and reliable knowledge of the quantitative and qualitative groundwater properties in changing conditions, with the aim of ensuring high-quality drinking water”. The Conference will take place from May 19 to 22, 2026 at the Impozant Hotel in Valčianska dolina valley (Central Slovakia).
  As part of the conference, the attendants will also commemorate the life anniversaries of SAH members, and SAH awards will be presented for significant contributions to the field of hydrogeology. Professional program consists of two days devoted to lectures and presentations and one day of field trip visiting major karst groundwater resources and mineral water sites. Accepted lectures and presentations will be also published in the Conference Proceedings. After being reviewed by the Scientific Committee, the selected contributions can be recommended to the Editorial Board of the SAH “Podzemná voda” journal for publication.
