The 9th Asia-Pacific Coastal Aquifer Management Meeting
Transforming Coastal Groundwater Challenges into Blue Opportunities. The 9th Asia-Pacific Coastal Aquifer Management Meeting (APCAMM 2026) will be held from 9-13 November 2026 at Ara Convention Hall, Jeju National University, Jeju, Korea. The conference theme is "Transforming Coastal Groundwater Challenges into Blue Opportunities."
The theme highlights the need to turn the growing pressures on coastal aquifers into pathways for innovation, resilience and sustainable management. Coastal groundwater systems are increasingly affected by seawater intrusion, climate change, sea-level rise, urbanisation, over-extraction, contamination and expanding subsurface development. APCAMM 2026 will explore how advances in monitoring, modelling, geophysical methods, groundwater-surface water studies, mitigation methods against saltwater intrusion and saline groundwater utilisation can support more resilient coastal aquifer management.
Abstract submission deadline : 18 September 2026
Notification of acceptance : 30 September 2026
Early-bird registration deadline : 16 October 2026.Organised by Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources, Korea Society of Soil and Groundwater Environment.
