7th International Course Characterization and Engineering of Karst Aquifers (CEKA)
Lecturing, field visit and workshop of karst surface features, springs, caves. The 7th International course Characterization and Engineering of Karst Aquifers (CEKA) sponsored by UNESCO and several other institutions will take place in Montenegro: Žabljak (Durmitor Mt.), Virpazar (Skadar Lake), and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Trebinje, in June 12-20, 2020. Characterization of karst aquifers, research methods, engineering solutions, managing transboundary groundwater, raising awareness on groundwater importance and protecting water and dependent eco-systems from pollution in karst are among others the topics to be discussed during the course.
