  Introduction to Groundwater Hydrochemistry

  Groundwater quality. Groundwater is a vital resource for people and the environment. As populations increase and climates shift it's vital that we understand groundwater systems and the processes controlling groundwater quality. What are the key controls on the hydrochemical composition of groundwater? How can our actions alter these processes? Find the answers to these questions and more during this exploration of our groundwater hydrochemistry. This micro-credential is designed for professionals with postgraduate-level scientific literacy and numeracy skills who are interested in deepening their understanding the hydrochemical evolution of groundwater.
  
  Topics covered include an introduction to groundwater hydrogeochemistry, the evolution from rainwater to groundwater and modelling water quality with PhreeqC.
  
  In this micro-credential you will deepen your knowledge and understanding of key hydrogeochemical processes that control groundwater quality. Learners will develop skills in analysing and interpreting measured hydrochemical data to understand groundwater systems.
