6th SADC Groundwater Conference
In line with SADC-GMI's core mission, the SADC-GMI will host the SADC Groundwater Conference under the theme "Promoting Peace Across Borders through Conjunctive Water Management" from November 13-15, 2024, in Maseru, Lesotho. The conference theme is inspired by the World Water Day Theme: “Water for peace” and the Stockholm World Water Week Theme “Bridging Borders: Water for a Peaceful and Sustainable Future”.

The primary goal of the conference is to bring together critical stakeholders in the water sector, with a particular emphasis on groundwater, to exchange expertise, knowledge, achievements, and persistent challenges affecting groundwater resources in the regional and continental context. Moreover, the conference endeavors to consistently advocate for the importance of groundwater, encouraging adaptation and fostering collaboration among Member States.
This conference is a premier event that garners the attention and participation of diverse stakeholders across the SADC Member States, including government representatives, regional institutions, private sector entities, academia, scientists, civic organizations, and the media, both from within the region and beyond.Price: 3500.00 ZAR
