  Groundwater Symposium of the International Association of Hydrogeologists, Mexico Chapter

  Groundwater Interaction. In a world of rapid change, groundwater is a vital resource facing increasing pressure. To predict future trends, it is crucial to understand how groundwater relates to rivers, lakes, and ecosystems, and how it reacts to extreme weather events and urban growth, taking advantage of efficient technological advances.
  
  Sustainable management strategies must consider the multiple connections within the water-food-energy-ecosystems link, and can only be developed in close collaboration between stakeholders and society at large.
  
  At the Groundwater Symposium of the IAH Mexico Chapter, we will promote interactions between the academic community, industry, public administration, non-profit and international organizations, as well as general stakeholders to share knowledge and address these challenges.
