  Hydrogeoday

  Hydrogeology dissemination. The Hydrogeoday is a day focussed to hydrogeology dissemination, held on the occasion of World Water Day (March 22) and promoted by the Spanish Chapter since 2017. Public Research Organizations, Universities and other organizations whose activities are related to groundwater also collaborate on it. This initiative consists of free walking itineraries, guided by hydrogeologists and open to all types of public, regardless of their knowledge in the field to be treated in each of the proposed activities. Last year the event was organized in 21 Spanish provinces and in Andorra, Chile and Guatemala. More than 1000 participants took part. This year the Hydrogeoday will be held between the 25th and 26th of March. There will be also a photo contest through the Spanish Chapter Twitter account.
