UNESCO and the Minister of Water Resources and Meteorology met to discuss their respective water mandates and initiatives and explore collaboration opportunities. Two key groundwater projects currently being implemented by UNESCO and its partners aim to address data, knowledge and capacity gaps in transboundary groundwater governance and management and strengthen environmental sustainability, climate adaptation and water security in the Lower Mekong Basin.
