Water tables and underground reservoirs in France are at a good level, reducing the likelihood of widespread drought conditions coming into force across the country this year. Groundwater reservoirs are at least at average levels, except in one or two areas, data from the national Bureau de Recherches Géologiques et Minières (BRGM) shows. Despite this, drought restrictions remain in some areas.
